Airline 283 Movie Dial Radio (1937)
(wood tube table radio)

Airline 283 Movie Dial Radio (1937)

This beauty is a very unusual set. The radio was a two band radio, but a high powered receiver, using eight tubes. The green tuning eye is impressive, but the back lit movie dial with a collection of the major stations displaying is fantastic. The set is a chrome chassis, and is free of any pitting or blemish. This set is so pristine, it retains the factory hanging tag from the factory! How often do you find a novelty set, chrome chassis and so like new? Everything has been done, and is a terrific player! Shipping weight 38 pounds! 22"W x 13"H x 10-1/2"D.
