Majestic radios were always considered very high end maker radios. This is a very fine example of a quality radio. The radio has been very nicely refinished. The gloss of the finish is very professional; I admire the quality of the lacquer work! The electronics have been done here by my pro, a man with 45 years experience; so the radio is gorgeous! The radio is a light to medium walnut, which is a nicer shade of walnut, than the orange shading side photos. These flat top tombstones were the rage in the mid thirties, and you can see the high quality veneers, and craftsmanship employed in making. The radio is very heavy, with a large transformer. The case retains all of the factory tags and paperwork. This is a nice example. 16"H x 13"W x 9-1/2"D.
