Truetone D-2615 "the Stratoscope" (1946)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Truetone D-2615 "the Stratoscope" (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I am adding a couple more of these terrific early painted Bakelite radios due to many requests. Here is one of the best! This Truetone has all the angles and a super form. The radio came as a painted Bakelite, which has enjoyed a fresh coat. The set looks factory new. The radio has had the same complete electronic restoration by a real pro that all of my sets enjoy. Note the presets, which allow you to set the radio to your favorite stations, and the very complete factory back. Sets this nice are not often found. This table set offers a lot of value. The term "Stratoscope" refers to the rather innovative antenna that this set employed, which allowed for superior reception without the need to add any additional antenna wires. 12"W x 8"H x 7"D.
