Silvertone 833 (1935)
(wood tube table radio)

Silvertone 833 (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Innovative styling and very aggressive modern good looks are a great description for this radio. Highly styled, this edgy set is a solid performer. The cool telephone dial tuning coupled with the non-linear cabinet makes angles on this set special. I think the outside case is made of teak, and the front, of maple. The radio has a tag indicating it was made in Los Angeles, for Silvertone. I bet by Gilfillan Bros, a prime, manufacturer and innovative maker of radios in the thirties. This set has seen a complete restoration. The radio now plays like a champion and should provide you a fine quality for many years to come. Unique woods, and a special shape and this radio will soon be a favorite! 11-1/2"W x 8"H x 7"D.
