Seldom do you find such a great set in special original condition. However, as you will see from the additional photos, that is exactly the condition of this D-723. The set has a cadre of followers, as the fine Deco lines accentuated by the stunning large dial, make a "must own" radio. The fine walnut cabinet is finely detailed with the toning lacquers at the factory. You might notice the very large speaker, which delivers a great sound for this seven tube chassis. The radio is a good sized table radio; so impressive, I was sorely tempted to keep this jewel for myself. Therefore, my loss can be your gain. Truetone radios were made for Western Auto, who marketed nation wide. They contracted the production to many different factories, so I am not sure which company made the set, but this is a fine quality set. The work done by my technician was through and as usual, excellent. This will assure you of years of trouble free service! 19"W x 11"H x 9-1/2"D.
