Atwater Kent 708 Cathedral (1933)
(x tube cathedral radio)

Atwater Kent 708 Cathedral (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

If you have followed my ads, you will always note how much admiration I have for this fine maker. They were the most dedicated partnership to build the finest radios, inside and out. They were always innovative in the technology and components, and insisted on the finest cabinets available at retail. If you owned an Atwater Kent radio, you owned the best. This was an advanced radio for such an early super-het. The use of eight tubes ensured the finest performance money could buy. I am the second owner of this radio; it was cherished, and cared for all of these years. You can see from the photos, the extremely fine condition and the factory supplied instruction sheet and station log. Note the finely detailed lace grille in pristine condition. The radio has had a complete restoration of new filters and caps. All other components are within factory new margins and a fine silk/cotton power cord and new Bakelite cord added for your safety. 16-1/2"W x 15"H x 12"D.
