Sparton Radio 516 (1936)
(wood tube table radio)

Sparton Radio 516 (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
A ONE-DAY WONDER!

This is a rather scarce radio and it uses the same four-tube chassis as the famed "Bluebird." This was intended to be a highly decorative and compact table radio. The unusual use of chrome strips makes a very special statement. The radio has been completely restored with a tremendous effort. The latently defective resistor-line cord was completely replaced with a solid-state device. This allows for your regular use of the radio without any hazard. My technician has done a complete replacement of the caps and filters. The radio has new tubes and of course, our replacement silk power cord and reproduction plug. 10-1/4"W x 8-1/4"H x 5-1/2"D.
