Stewart-Warner R-140A Tombstone (1934)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Stewart-Warner R-140A Tombstone (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a stunning example from the high-end maker, Stewart Warner. The radio is a compact tombstone, fashioned out of the finest American Walnut. The high Deco cut out grille, almost in a floral motif, makes this radio a collector favorite. The radio is a five-tube model and plays on broadcast and shortwave band swath. The radio was completely restored by my technician and plays well, with a great degree of selectivity. You can see the fine condition of the cabinet. New plug and power cord ensure you safe regular use. Compact at 13"H x 9-1/2"W x 8-1/4"D.
