Stewart-Warner R-1252 "The Berkley" Tombstone (1933)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Stewart-Warner R-1252 "The Berkley" Tombstone (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at another of the highly Art Deco models made by this high end factory. The radio is in remarkable factory original condition, with a nice finish, factory speaker cloth and knobs. The radio has, as all of my radios, been completely restored to factory specs. The restorations include new caps and filters, tuner alignment and a new power cord and plug for safe regular use. The radio is a dual band model and uses five tubes. The radio was part of the premier line and was so notable, it received the classic naming of "The Berkley." This is an impressive radio in both performance and deco looks, measuring 17"H x 14-1/2"W x 9-1/4"D.
