This radio is one of the scarcest sets in the radio collector's realm. The radio is so rare, it was featured on the front cover of the last Mark Stein price guide. Bought directly from the author, this is only the second example of this set I have seen in forty years of active collecting. The radio was super futuristic for the era, a small table radio with five tubes. The radio with the unique form, highlighted with black lacquer on American walnut. The brush aluminum grille, detailed with black lettering, makes a museum styled statement. The super-het chassis plays very well, as it has been completely serviced by my best technician. This radio, is a blue chip, investment caliber piece of history, and every detail, including a new silk power cord and Bakelite plug for your regular use. The radio retains the factory installed paperwork on the insides of the case. 11-1/2"H x 8-1/4"W x 6-1/2"D.
