Sparton radios sold!

Sparton 508 (1936)
(wood tube table radio)

Sparton 508 (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a striking mantle radio. Highly styled with a porthole dial, this radio reeks of style. The radio is in fine condition, with a fine factory finish, speaker cloth and knobs. The dial is the famed Sparton globe motif, which lights beautifully in a darken room. My tech has changed out the inherently defective resistor power cord with a factory fresh new polarized plug. He did a complete repair and used solid state components to complete the conversion from a resistor line set. The radio is a solid performer. The factory paperwork is nearly complete on the bottom, making this a fine playing and cosmetic example. 11"W x 8"H x 5-1/2"D.
