Crosley 54G "Buddy Boy" (1931)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Crosley 54G "Buddy Boy" (1931)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a seldom seen beauty from Crosley Radio. These radios were part of a very limited series cased out of a rubber and wood compound called repwood. These sets have a tremendous depth and are rather unique to the radio world. As a very early cathedral, this model is a TRF circuit and perfect to tune in the more powerful radio stations. Note the gold plaques both on the front and back are still intact, along with the Crosley family crest on the front under the speaker grille. This is a fine specimen. The radio had the complete repair and is a super player for a radio of this type and age. The radio has a fresh reproduction power cord and plug for your safe and dependable use. The radio has a super presence at 16-1/2"H x 16-1/2"W x 9-1/2"D.
