Sparton 506 "Bluebird" (1936)
(glass tube table radio)

Sparton 506 "Bluebird" (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Long considered to be one of the most collectable of all of the vintage radios. This radio was designed by the famous Walter Dorin Teague and has been a museum piece. This 14-1/2 inch blue mirror disk is highlighted by the concentric chrome rings. This is nicest original example I have ever seen. the radio shows the tiniest amount of wear for the decades of service. The five tube super-het chassis has been modified for safety, replacing the resister line cord with a brand new cotton/silk replacement. I am including a copy of original ads of the radio, which should enhance your display of this museum caliber radio. 15"H x 15"W x 9"D.
