RCA 5T Tombstone (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

RCA 5T Tombstone (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a terrific and less expensive tombstone. RCA owned all of the Armstrong patents and the level of technology they employed was the best. This five-tube model is an advanced super-het offering both Broadcast and Shortwave reception. The previous owner did a terrific job refinishing the cabinet, choosing what to my eye is a dark cherry color stain and a very good lacquer finish. The speaker cloth and knobs appear to be factory originals. Les has done his usual repairs and has thoughtfully replaced all of the defective electric components and those prone to failure, to offer you a problem free set. He also added at no additional cost one of our mini-jacks, which attaching a modern device will allow you an unlimited selection of content. These are terrific performers and the selectivity and sound quality challenge larger and more expensive radios. 16-1/4"H x 13-1/4"W x 9"D.
