Here is an unusual model from Detrola Radio. The tombstone is slender in depth, but yet a fully functioning five-tube super-het playing through a six-inch Rola speaker. The set is AM/SW. The stunning oversized and stationed dial is the focal point of the set. Note the huge six-inch back lit dial by a pair of dial lamps, a dramatic touch. The radio was refinished nicely by the previous owner and done well. The cabinet is made of red mahogany and the speaker cloth is a period replacement. The knobs are originals. Les has done an outstanding job in his repairs and the set is a "hot" chassis. He added a mini-jack to allow you to input a device of your choice and enjoy an unlimited choice of content. This 3.5 male jack is a universal fit for today's modern devices. 17-1/2"H x 13"W x 8"D.
