Emerson 347 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1940)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson 347 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1940)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Emerson partnered with the famous Ingraham Cabinet to create an entire line of dramatically styled radios. Ingraham was a New York based cabinet maker who specialized with clocks, but were known for the dramatic use of exotic veneers and fine finishes. You can clearly see the results with this radio and highly unusual cover for a speaker grille. The condition is pretty good, with the factory installed parts. I could only find a tiny crease to the dial cover, which is nearly invisible. The six tube super-het chassis also has a self contained antenna which obliterates the need for an additional external wire. Les has done a super job in his repairs and the set really sings. He added a mini-jack to this radio allowing your choice of external input. Using this external input allows you an unlimited choice of content including internet radio. 11-1/4"W x 8"H x 6-1/2"D.
