Zenith 715 Tombstone (1934)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Zenith 715 Tombstone (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is one of the most decorative and beautifully crafted radios from Zenith Radio. The radio is a eight-tube super-het chassis and plays on AM only. The highly crafted cabinet with a delicate cut out grille is an interesting mix of American walnut with the arch of Birdseye maple. I always admire the large lit thumb wheel dial with the ornate bronze escutcheon. The condition is very fine with a well refinished cabinet and reproduction and accurate Zenith reproduction speaker cloth. The knobs are intricately carved floral wood knobs and are factory originals. The eight-tube chassis has been repaired in Les' professional manner and the radio is a dramatic receiver. Note the large eight-inch speaker which offers a large room level of sound. This radio has been retrofitted with a 3.5 mm mini-jack for your input device of any modern type, or adds Bluetooth for an additional $25. This is a scarce model, and seldom offered. 17-1/2"H x 15-1/4"W x 10-1/2"D.
