Amrad 716 Tombstone (Crosley, 1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Amrad 716 Tombstone (Crosley, 1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Amrad Radio was one of the early and quality makers of battery radios (1920's) and parts for the people who assembled kits. The brand name was so desired that it was bought by Crosley Radio of Cincinnati to market a higher quality line of radios. You can see the tall and impressive radio with the five colored oversized dial. The radio is an advanced seven-tube super-het offering short/long wave and broadcast (AM). Being a higher tube count, this radio offers superior reception and a scarce model. The condition of the radio is spectacular, with a fine original American walnut veneer cabinet. The speaker cloth is period correct reproduction and the wood knobs. My tech has completed his highly professional repairs and the radio is dramatic in performance. Clearly this will be a fine set to own. The radio has a mini-jack installed to allow your connection of any modern type of device. Now you can choose your content played through the set. Bluetooth is available for $25 additional! 21"H x 16-1/2"W x 9-1/2"D.
