THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a top of the line model with a dramatic and unique profile. Made for Sears by a premier factory, Colonial Radio Corp, it was created to celebrate the 1934 "World's Fair" in Chicago in 1934. The cabinet is a nicely refinished one with the factory installed knobs and accurate reproduction speaker cloth. This radio has been completely refurbished electronically and plays as new. Performance and beauty makes this a highly desirable radio to own. The radio becomes a double collectable, but even more important is the finest quality of manufacture. The radio is a very sophisticated super-het for the times and offering an unusually high eight-tube count. This deluxe receiver offers both broadcast and shortwave reception with an advance level of control. Note the shouldered cabinet with striped African mahogany front with chrome stripes highlighting the delicate exotic veneers. My tech has devoted this radio his finest efforts and his labor has returned the radio to be an outstanding player! My tech has installed a mini-jack for a direct connection to any modern device or add a Bluetooth device for only $25. 18"H x 13-3/4"W x 10"D.
