You are looking at a highly desired radio. This radio was fashioned in a stepped "skyscraper" shape, which was the rage of the time. This and a successive model in a more traditional tombstone shape were the two finest radios ever made by Philco and anybody else. The form was a very popular one for Philco, but this eleven-tube super-het and three-band receiver was the most deluxe and is a massively sized unit housing an 11-inch speaker. The sound quality along with the reception is magnificent! As with the finest radios, this model offers macro and micro tuning for the most accurate and DX type of tuning. The cabinet is in factory original condition and shows virtually no signs of wear. The speaker cloth is a highly accurate reproduction and the knobs are factory installed. My technician spent a considerable amount of time in his repairs to the radio, as it is a complex beast. The result is simply spectacular in every respect. A mini-jack has been installed so you can use this fine sounding radio for any content you wish to listen to from you phone, pad or computer.
