Pla-Pal 6793 (1936)
Pla-Pal 6793 (1936)
Pla-Pal was an interesting factory based in the 1930's in Chicago. They were a smaller factory and made a complete but limited line of radios in the early to middle 1930's. They are often noted for novelty types of sets but offered mainstream styled radios as well. This is a rather fancy traditionally styled six-tube super-het. The cabinet is a interesting mix of veneers and this craftsmanship and detail speaks to the elevated efforts. The cabinet has been refinished by a previous collector and he replaced the speaker cloth with a period correct reproduction. The knobs are fancy and factory originals. My technician has done a complete professional repair and the radio plays like new. His work included adding a mini-jack for your ability to connect this radio to any modern type of device. Now you can listen to any kind of content and still enjoy broadcast and shortwave reception. Add Bluetooth for only $25 additional! 17-1/4"H x 12-1/2"W x 10-1/2"D.  $595.00. (0961663)
All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

NOW!  Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
