Philco 90A (1931)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Philco 90A (1931)

NEW!Long recognized as the classic cathedral radio, the Philco 90 is a beauty. Designed by the famous Edward Combs, the "90" was the very top of the line. This nine-tube powerhouse is a tremendous super-het. The radio had the very latest technology, pre automatic volume control. The radio has a terrific high luster gloss finish using the latest Sherwin Williams lacquer. It has all the factory-installed parts and accurate reproduction speaker cloth. Note the high gloss piano finish This is the most desired model of this radio. Using a pair of #45 triode tubes, the radio is extraordinary robust. The markings on the dial show clearly when the radio is on. Note how dramatic the book-matched veneers are highlighted on the front. This radio was designed for Philco by Edward Combs, long considered one of the premier designers of this time. My tech has done a complete and perfect restoration. The radio plays loud and clearly with an excellent level of selectivity. He added a mini-jack for your auxiliary input device. This will allow you an unlimited choice of content which will allow you to use this with your iPhone, smart phone, iPods, or record player.  $1,095.00. (0961804)
We proudly announce a terrific additional item to our shop!  This is a low battery power full FCC compliant am transmitter!  It will work with all of your radios and the ones purchased here.  In addition, it is also a Bluetooth device and digital fm receiver.  Now you can finally listen to FM through your entire radio collection!  THESE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WITH A PURCHASE OF ONE OF OUR RADIOS FOR ONLY $99.99!  Giving these innovated products a complete test both I and my tech give the device two thumbs UP!

All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
