Considered as one of the most collectible of all of these old radios and displayed on the popular television program "The Waltons." The condition of the cabinet is remarkable with a quality refinished finish. There is the tiniest sliver on the right top back edge missing. Clearly, this is one of nicest example of this particular model I have offered for sale. The speaker cloth is original and in terrific condition for its 80+ year life, and the knobs the iconic factory original "Z" wood knobs. Note this example has a brand new old stock 6E5 eye tube which winks actively. The motor works perfectly in both directions. My tech has completely disassembled the shutter dials and cleaned and oiled them for smooth operation. Add the huge flywheel to the tuning and you have the finest of accurate tuning. This radio has had a complete professional restoration. He also has added a mini-jack allowing you to connect to an external device. This will allow you an unlimited choice of content which will allow you to use this with your iPhone, smart phone, iPods, or record player.
