Rare FADA Deco AM Bakelite radio. Except for the electronics restoration it is all original. I have exhausted my sources for information on this model with no success and have never seen a FADA such as this. The only thing I found is a 1941 FADA schematic. The Bakelite case is highly polished to the original shine with no flaws. The gold colored diamond shape speaker cloth, dial plate, dial cover, and knobs are all original and in excellent condition. The dial is very attractive two tone gold with a red dot pointer. Bakelite handle. The Deco designed case is typical FADA thick Bakelite, a dark chocolate color that has a nice gloss to it as seen in my pictures. Original labels are on the bottom with model number and tube layout (not pictured). Reception is great using five tubes and its built in antenna. Has a new speaker also. Just a nice FADA.
