This is a restored very rare beautiful and highly Deco radio manufactured for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. by Belmont Radio Corp. Given the name "WINGS" because of the wings on the Goodyear boot logo. Waterfall front with tiered solid walnut sides and classic Deco cutouts with new almost original grille cloth and a solid brass bezel with new convex dial cover just make this beauty stand out. The dial is lit and is a real eyesite. Has a vernier dial in the center along with a band selector bar. Three bands-Broadcast-MW (1.5-5.5mhz)-SW (5.3-18.2 mhz) of which all work excellent. Six tubes with a transformer power supply give it great reception and a separate tone control using a 6" Jensen electrodynamic speaker gives great tone. Wood knobs just accent the beauty.
