| Here we have a total all metal cased five tube BB radio that was manufactured sometime in the 40s, I think. I have attempted to get more information without much success. Help me if you can, OK? The original color was a bright red as I did and the dial, knobs are original. When on, it has a very nice bright lit dial also. The backing plate just snaps into place using locating pins also. It uses a 5" speaker mounted on the left side and has great sensitivity and selectivity using only the length of wire provided. I live in a rural area and this radio picks up stations better than most. The louvers are all metal also but I did replace the speaker cloth close to the original. 12"W x 7"H x 8"W. |
