(Bakelite tube table radio)

Philco 48-460 (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This Philco set is dubbed the "Hippo" by collectors I guess because of its hippo-like giant smile of a dial. Pristine Bakelite cabinet newly painted with pink enamel, it is a great post war deco accent for any decor. Plays loud and clear, totally recapped and restored, my guarantee applies. It has its original Bakelite knobs, and a reproduction back made of acrylic. 10 pounds packed.
