Setchell-Carlson 416 "Frog Eye" (1946)
(plastic tube table radio)

Setchell-Carlson 416 "Frog Eye" (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a very popular radio among collectors. Called the "frog eye" because of the way the knobs resemble a frog's eyes sticking up over its head. This radio plays loud and clear and my guarantee applies. It has a built in antenna with a clip to add an external one if you want. It has original cream Plaskon grille and knobs (unpainted). The cabinet has been repainted to match its original color, sort of a maroon red. The colorful dial is a new excellent reproduction and the lens is new acrylic. There is the original data card with the original dealer warranty tag inside in a plastic bag taped to the inside wall. The dial lights up. About 12 pounds packed. 10"W x 7"H x 7"D.
