Stewart-Warner radios sold!

Stewart-Warner 62TC16 (1946)
(wood tube table radio)

Stewart-Warner 62TC16 (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a large table radio, walnut veneer with walnut brown trim. It has been refinished and is very nice. The right side view represents the color better than the other shots. The grille cloth is a bit frayed, but original and presentable. It is AM only with a 9.35 to 9.88 shortwave segment, transformer operated chassis with six tubes and utilizes permeability tuning. This radio was found in Prescott, AZ, but its five pushbuttons indicate it was used originally in the East having a Canadian station and several "W" prefix station sets labels including WWJ. It has a built in antenna for the broadcast band and connection for an external antenna. It performs well on both bands and has a rich, mellow tone with a three position tone control. All electronic components have been tested and marginal ones replaced including the paper capacitors. It would look great on a table in your living room. 21-1/2"W x 10-1/2"H x 10"D. Only
