Westinghouse RC (RA/DA) (1922)
(x tube casket radio)

Westinghouse RC (RA/DA) (1922)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This very early battery powered radio is in great condition. The Westinghouse AR, DA, RA, RC, & RT were among the first products marketed by RCA and were made by Westinghouse. The "RC" consists of the "RA" tuner and "DA" amplifier housed together in the same cabinet (when the individual units were hooked up and working together the combination is known as the "RADA"). The RC is a three tube regenerative receiver. This unit was acquired at a swap meet ten years ago. I repaired it electronically and it works great. All controls are fully functional, and all three output jacks are working. Includes three 01A tubes. The amplifier output is very strong and can drive a speaker with ease. It has the original finish, which is in excellent condition for an 87 year old radio. I have pics of the chassis, if you would like to see them contact me via email. This is a chance to own a piece of very early radio history! 13"W x 10"H x 10"D, shipped weight 16 pounds.
