This is the nine-tube big brother of the eight-tube Philco 41-250T of the same year. It continues the theme of the slant-front table radios offered during the years 1939 through 1942, until production was halted by the entry of the United States into WWII. This receives three bands: standard broadcast from 540-1720 KHz, police band from 2.3-7.0 MHz and the overseas band (short-wave) from 9.0-12.0 MHz. It has been completely restored and performs flawlessly (I am very impressed with the sensitivity). Internal antenna works great, no need for an external wire. This received a complete tuneup (capacitors replaced, tubes and resistors checked and replaced as needed, IFs peaked, full alignment) and will provide years of trouble-free service. The cabinet has been expertly restored and looks super, chassis is very clean, grille cloth, escutcheon and pushbuttons are reproduction. 30 day warranty applies. iPod connection has been added. An excellent addition to any collection! Weighs 22 pounds, 19-1/2"W x 11"H x 14"D.
