Stromberg-Carlson 225-H (1937)

Stromberg-Carlson 225-H (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
This marvelous Art Deco styled set was made by Stromberg Carlson in Rochester, NY. Features a beautiful Brazilian Rosewood cabinet that has been expertly refinished with clear and toned lacquers. It is a large tabletop with the trademark Stromberg Carlson octagonal dial. This model is highly desired and relatively expensive, as they are rare and quite Art Deco. A five-tube set, it receives the AM Broadcast band and two shortwave bands. Plays loudly and clearly on all bands. My extensive electronics restoration (replace filters and paper caps, check resistors and tubes, align, etc.) has been done and it is warranted for 90 days. Aux input cable (iPod, CD player, etc.) can be added for $75 (will not change the cabinet or chassis in any way). Weighs 19 pounds, 16"W x 9-1/2"H x 8-1/2"D.
