This is an iconic and sought after large table radio that you will be proud to own and listen to. Manufactured by Western Auto, it is restored inside and out and performs flawlessly on the Broadcast, Police and Short Wave bands. All the paper and filter capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents, and all resistors and tubes checked and replaced as necessary. The eight-tube circuit has been aligned; it is very sensitive and performs great using a short antenna (supplied) on all bands (550-1600 KC, 1.6-5.0 MC, 5.0-16.0 MC). For shortwave a longer antenna is helpful, providing additional signal strength for long distance reception. Has lighted dial and bright green "eye" tube. Chassis is very clean, no rust, dial scale and speaker are perfect. Large speaker provides excellent sound quality. Aux input (iPod, iPhone, CD player, etc.) input can be added for $75. 90 day warranty. 21"W x 11-1/2"H x 9"D.
