THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a very large round top radio. It is quite impressive as a collectable or decorative item. It is also unusual in that it has eight tubes and with the 8" speaker sounds great. The chassis has had my meticulous electronic restoration and plays like it just came from the factory in 1938. This radio also has a "shadow dial" that works and a gorgeous lighted dial with a brighter lighted dial pointer. The speaker is original as are the dial, knobs and escutcheon. All the tubes were tested and replaced with strong ones. The cabinet also has had my usual beautiful lacquer finishing with the nitrocellulose lacquer being polished every few coats. It took about a month to refinish the cabinet to make sure it was correct with the original. This is a big, heavy radio but I will pack it carefully. Don't forget that it comes with my usual unconditional warranty and will be insured for the full amount when shipped but you can pick it up if you want on the coast of Mississippi. Almost 22"H x 18"W x 12"D.
