| This Trans-Oceanic portable covers the AM Broadcast band and six short wave bands. The cabinet covering has been cleaned and mink oiled but is original. All brass and external screws have been polished and lacquered to maintain a shine. All plastic surfaces have been polished. The electronics have been restored and the set realigned by factory procedure to restore its sensitivity and it plays beautifully. It will come with a very nice reproduction Operator's Manual and schematic. Restorer's artistic license was taken on the wave magnet antenna, and the lettering was repainted in Gold to match the brass rather than the original white. Ready to play for years to come or a very nice display piece. $30.00 for shipping & insurance. |
