Motorola XP36GU Concept 90 Transistor Portable (1970)
(plastic tube portable radio)

Motorola XP36GU Concept 90 Transistor Portable (1970)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This Motorola has superb reception on the AM band. A nice case and especially appealing is the neat dial scale. The dial cover is nice and clear. Uses a common 9-volt battery. The plastic protective case is loose on the back side, but it is not falling apart. I could not find a date for this model, but it seems to be the type made around 1970. 4-1/2"W x 3-1/4"H x 1"D.
