The AM reception is superb with the internal antenna. A short wire will enhance the AM signal, but it's not required. The SW bands do receive well, but for best reception you'll need an outside antenna or a long wire hidden behind your furniture, etc. Dual pilot lights show the clear dial nicely for night use. A copy of the service manual is included. Fully restored electronically for reliable daily operation.
