Silvertone 1942 Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Silvertone 1942 Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

One of the first Silvertones with a tuning eye. This is a special restoration. Every capacitor has been replaced, and the originals saved and stuffed. Every wire has been replaced with period appearing wire. The entire tube count are early Silvertone brand, including the eye tube. I have installed a new 6E5, but will include the Silvertone (it is approx. 50% bright). The three bands all work fine; a wire antenna is needed. Plays loud and strong. It is, of course, covered under my 980 day warranty. A real piece of working history. The power cord is the original, but I will replace should the buyer wish. 19"H x 16"W x 11"D.
