Zenith 9-S-232A "Walton" Tombstone
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Zenith 9-S-232A "Walton" Tombstone

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

For your consideration we have a Zenith tombstone which is among the more rare "Waltons." It is considered rare because it is an "A" or export model. Additionally the set was originally labeled as a seven tube, but the factory relabeled it as a nine tube. These labels are intact and clear. Only "A" models have the copper colored I-F cans and phonograph socket on the back. The "Z" knob on the back right hand bottom indicates the latter. Also note the power transformer change; it is now for use with US voltage only. This nine tube set didn't come motorized for export and it remains this to date. When we realized what we had we opted for a complete restoration and the new owner will be the beneficiary of this. The only thing you will need to do to enjoy this beautiful set is plug it in, sit back and enjoy. You are welcome to the copy of the work order listing the complete detailing of all work done. This can be yours for
