Here we have a model from Zenith's famous line of "Cube" radios. This well made cabinet is very heavy and solid. The wood grain in the dark walnut's finish is just stunning throughout the entire set. One of the unique features with this cube radio is the side mounted speaker which allows for a "different" listening experience. And just look at that large black dial! Nothing compares. Lighting nice and bright, the dial is in superb shape with all numbers and letters indicating station frequencies legible and showing no signs of wear. The gold "Z" pointer is also in great shape and turns nice and smooth around the dial. Claw feet and a front & side Art Deco grille finish this set off with style and class. Both "Z" knobs are in excellent condition and work as they should. The five tube chassis is clean and restored. Great reception from these Long distance radios allow you to listen to stations up and down the dial with good volume, warm rich tone, and no hum.
