Coronado C5D14 "Jewel" (1947)
(plastic tube table radio)

Coronado C5D14 "Jewel" (1947)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Coronado was the brand name for radios sold by Gamble Stores. This radio was manufactured by Belmont for Gamble, hence it really has that Belmont Art Deco look. It is identical to the Coronado 43-8160. Nicknamed the "Jewel" due to its colorful dial. This dark brown, almost black set has no cracks, chips, or other cosmetic damage. It has a complete label, and also has its metal back, which is part of its antenna system. The radio has been gone over completely, everything replaced that was needed, and is playing great with no annoying filter hum. It's an extremely small radio, only about 8"W x 6"H x 4-1/2"D.
