THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A really nice example of this pre-War Zenith, before American radio production ceased for four years. With matters in Europe getting progressively worse, the American public's desire for news around the world grew. This model 6-S-511 has a short wave band as well as an AM band. It has a really cool dial with countries marked all over the globe: France, England, Germany, Holland, South America, New Zealand. A tortoise shell handle and an original back are in place. It has three knobs, five push buttons marked with New York stations, and twin dial lamps. The radio has been recapped and checked out completely, and tunes in all my local stations, as well as a few SW stations at night. This is a very heavy set with its power transformer. About 14"W x 7"H x 7"D.
