Emerson DB-347 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1941)
(wood tube table radio)

Emerson DB-347 w/Ingraham Cabinet (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A beautiful pre-WWII 1941 Emerson housed in a professionally refinished Ingraham Clock Company walnut case. Ingraham of Bristol Connecticut made many beautiful cases for late 30's and early 40's radio companies, but I believe they made the most for Emerson. The case is in excellent condition, with striking case lines along the bottom edge and over the speaker cover. The Ingraham Company tag is on the bottom. The chassis has been checked by a professional, and all tubes, resistors, and capacitors that needed replacing were changed. The radio is playing fine with no annoying filter hum picking up all my local AM stations clearly, and distant stations at night. Nice bright dial lamp thru a brand new clear dial lens. It has a new reproduction back. Click here to read an excellent article about this radio at the Radiophile web site.
