Majestic 5A410 "Zephyr" (1946)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Majestic 5A410 "Zephyr" (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A Majestic "Mighty Monarch of the Air" post-War set in beautiful dark brown swirled Bakelite, affectionately known as the Zephyr. The Zephyr was also a California train that ran daily from Chicago to San Francisco, and from the front, this radio's design sure resembles a train coming down the track. The radio has an Art Deco streamlined look much earlier than its post-War date. The radio case is in mint condition and still has a nice showroom shine. The radio has no cosmetic issues, no damages, no cracks, chips or hairlines. It is playing perfectly , picking up all my local AM stations clearly. The dial lamp is also working fine. The original printed model number is on the bottom, and the original back is on the chassis. It has a great dial when lit up. This is the best example of this model I have seen. About 10"W x 6-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D.
