Zenith 7-H-822 "Triumph" AM/FM (1949)
(Plaskon tube table radio w/FM)

Zenith 7-H-822 "Triumph" AM/FM (1949)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a great vintage radio to really enjoy because you can pick up both AM and FM broadcasts. This 1949 model in beautiful ivory Plaskon was an early Zenith entry into both AM and FM bandwidths. This model Zenith is almost impossible to find in beautiful ivory Plaskon without any cosmetic damage. This case has no issues like chips or cracks. They are also very hard to find with the brass Zenith eagle crest still on the case. Most fell off, or were pulled off by naughty children. The set has been checked by a professional, and is playing well on both the AM and FM bands. Three front knobs for off/on, band selection, and tuning, as well as a side knob for tone. The original back is on the case. A nice example of Zenith history and case design, as well as a great set to listen to and enjoy, although I never recommend playing vintage radios for extended periods of time. About 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D.
