THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This early Art Deco Pre-War Truetone tombstone was designed to sit in three different positions: it can be set on the right side, the left side, or in an upright position. The cabinet is black Bakelite with a striking chrome front grille. It has its original knobs, grille cloth, and complete full black Bakelite back. The case and the back are in excellent undamaged condition with no cracks or other issues. The radio has a Continental Radio five tube chassis, and was sold in Western Auto stores under the Truetone name brand. The chassis has been completely gone over by a professional, and everything needing replacing was done. The radio is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations clearly, and the beautiful original Truetone dial looks great lit up. This is a rare set to find without any damage. About 10"H x 7"W x 6"D.
