Silvertone 6177-A (1939)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Silvertone 6177-A (1939)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This beautiful minty black Bakelite Silvertone midget bullet with contrasting ivory knobs was made for Sears by Detrola for the 1939 model year. The case is undamaged, no cosmetic problems at all, no cracks, chips, or discolorations, and still has its showroom shine. The original back is in great condition, and the cord is in perfect condition also. It's one of the classic Art Deco radio designs from the late 1930's. It has a five-tube chassis with a built-in loop antenna. The radio has been completely checked by a professional, and is playing fine, picking up all my local AM stations. The dial lamp lights up the ivory dial from behind. Original label is on the bottom. I believe you would be hard pressed to find one in better condition. Small at about 8-1/4"W x 5"H x 4-1/2"D. Free well packed safe shipping to anywhere in the continental USA.
