THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Designed for use in rural areas, this radio ran on a 6-volt storage battery that the user could recharge from a tractor or truck generator, or from a windcharger. A synchronous vibrator provides the plate voltage. Four tubes, broadcast and low short-wave band (up to 7 MHz only). Dynamic speaker with a large iron magnet. This set works fine on a clean DC supply, preferably 6.6 to 6.8 volts, or it can run on AC through use of the adapter provided, which can be plugged into the vibrator socket (this requires opening the vibrator compartment). 14"W x 13"H x 10"D.
