General Electric JE-81 (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Beautifully refinished multiband radio that was made for both domestic and overseas use. It is adjustable for 110 and 230 volts. A bit unusual for an American made radio at that time. Has broadcast and two shortwave bands. It is beautiful to listen to and look at. It also has a switchable phono input on the back of the chassis that can be used to play your iPod with the use of an adapter. Cabinet is exceptional. Dial is excellent. The chassis is very clean with no corrosion. Sounds really good and reception is outstanding. Weighs 31 lbs. Not a lightweight by any means. 23"W x 14"H x 12"D.
