Zenith 808 Tombstone (1935)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Zenith 808 Tombstone (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Zenith had some beautiful radios well before they came out with the big black dials in 1936, and this is one of them. An upgrade from the plainer 807, it was designed in an Art Deco style that resembles the inspiring skyscrapers of the period. This radio has had all capacitors and out of tolerance resistors replaced as well as a full alignment. The cabinet had a couple small areas of edge veneer replaced before being restored. This tabletop radio has one of Zenith's best designs.
